First Let’s talk about what you own. Up until October 2018, you used to be able to download Your connection information from LinkedIn. This came with email addresses, phone numbers if they existed location city, state, and web site addresses. Subsequent to 10/18 now all you get is name and Vocations. Huge change right? LinkedIn has grown for 350 million members when Microsoft acquired the about 6 years ago to about 1 billion members. Name of the game is ownership and think of it this way "He who owns the data has ownership." LinkedIn is forcing people back to LinkedIn to communicate with their connections.
